Title: CTRL+W (Get from Windows clipboard) some inconvenience
Post by: BohdanT on October 08, 2009, 02:02:21 PM
Some Windows App, when copying text into the clipboard, appended to the end of lines symbol 0AX.

In this case, after you insert text from the Windows clipboard - all displayed correctly.
But, if you save the file and then load it - added blank lines after each inserted line.

Is it possible, when you insert a Windows-clipboard, add option to ignore characters 0AX ?

Try to save the file using the UTF-8 format.

... and lost all formatting.  ;)
If I had to load the entire file - I would not have enjoyed the clipboard.

I changed in  module Clipboard -> GetFromClipboard to:
Code:
IF ch#0DX THEN
chUnicode[0] := ORD(ch);
chUnicode[1] := 0;
text.InsertUCS32(text.GetLength(), chUnicode);
END;
Everything works correctly.

Strange:If ignoring 0AX - text is inserted as one line! After save/load - displayed correctly.
Thus what a mess it turns. Text need insert with 0AX whatever while saving he was transformed into 0DX.
