Title: xenopus
Post by: soren renner on March 10, 2008, 03:09:19 PM
announcing xenopus rtrt
among realtime raytracers, xenopus is a clawed frog in a small pond.

xenopus is a crucial part of a larger project. think squeak + toy + SL + xenopus + turing + .....

code injection (see thread above) was an important revelation.

Hi Soren
I like your youtube contribution.
Could you give me some hints how volumetric voxel data could be entered in your raytracer ?

If you join the channel at youtube and comment there, it would help promote the xenopus project by making it seem popular. I am now making the first in a series of films not showing off the graphics from the tracer but explaining the theory and software design -- to be titled "Google Tech Talks: Alternate World Extreme Edition". If you find that you don't want to watch the whole thing, or if you do but your question remains unanswered, then ask again. I want to help you in every way that I can, not least because you seem to be providing the mathematics facilities which J. Bowery and I are eager to have.
