Title: WinAos.r1120 crash when myAos.CONFIG is present
Post by: darek on March 28, 2008, 01:40:51 PM
Hello All,
 I just got a very fresh release of WinAos. After installing it, I was able to start the system without any problems.

 When I have copied  myAos.config file from an old (WiAos 3.07) installation into new directory,  I had problem with executing Aos.Exe program. Running the Aos debugger   on the Aos.Exe file with myAos.config file  available, I got :

(Console info )

Modules.root00415964
Mounting: C:\ (Preload), fs = NTFS
Not mounted (no volume information): D:\
Mounting: E:\ (), fs = NTFS
Traps: TrapHandler installed
Win32AosDisplay: Initialize message dispatcher...
Win32AosDisplay: Start message dispatching
Win32AosDisplay: Fullscreen mode
{P cpuid= 0, pid= 7056 AosConsole, problem: CRC incompatible with AosIO/Writer}
Shutting down system
{P cpuid= 0, pid= 7056 AosFS: 32 open files}
Threads 1 discarded finalizers, 0 pending finalizers
AosWinFS 32 discarded finalizers, 0 pending finalizers
Objects 5 discarded finalizers, 0 pending finalizers
Machine.Shutdown
Heaps.Shutdown

Any ideas ?

 Regards,

The object file CRC.Obw seems to be incompatible with AosIO.Obw. Do you have some "old" object files somewhere that are included in the search path defined in myAos.config? If not, please post the content of your myAos.config.

Hi,
  fixed. Indeed, I had different  CRC.Obw module in my working directory.

  Thanks,
