Already one year, as reported on the error.

Many people complained that they could not unpack tar-archive.

For me, personally, I'm not familiar with the TAR format, and I don't like to invest time here. But it would, of course, be nice if A2 TAR files were compatible with Unix TAR files. Somebody willing to fix it?
