I've made some optimizations. Now dev. version (RaycasterHQTex.Mod) shows FPS up to 40-45 on 2 GHz CPU. Maybe it's possible to make it even faster.
So, it possible now to make Wolfenstein 3D clone. Some things missing: animated sprites and doors. But it's not difficult to do.
But, I actually prefer the Ken Silverman's Build engine capabilities. Build engine was used for games: Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Redneck Rampage, Shadow Warrior, ...
Build engine actually much more complex. But it's really nice with it's possibility to make rounded walls, walls with different height, and so on.
I've found nice little demo with Duke Nukem 3D like engine implementation here: http://www.angelfire.com/geek/LLS/

Hmm... LoadTexture failed on WinAOS... (and no technical reason in the log why it fails...)

Archive files with textures (wolftex.zip and hqtex.zip) should be placed in Work folder.
