Hi All,
I need to perform some calculations that involve reading data from  a set of  files (more than 3000 of them).

How I can get a list of files in a user defined  directory using  ActiveOberon (something like Matlab's  dir function)  ?

I am using WinAos on Win7.

  Any suggestions are welcome.

Cheers,
   Darek

Have a look at the Files.Enumerator Object. It is used e.g. in the implementation of the FSTools.Directory command.
