Just for my own interest in compiler development, is there any documentation regarding the Fox compiler (and OP2, and their differences, if available)?

to my knowledge, there is only documentation about OP2:

The report about OP2 by Régis Crelier http://e-collection.library.ethz.ch/eserv/eth:3252/eth-3252-01.pdf
and his PhD Thesis: http://e-collection.library.ethz.ch/eserv/eth:39386/eth-39386-02.pdf.

Although you did not ask for, there is some info about the parallel compiler PACO in the PhD thesis of Patrik Reali: http://e-collection.library.ethz.ch/eserv/eth:26497/eth-26497-02.pdf

regards
