Hallo
just wanted to inform you that one of my servers, consisting of an old notebook PC which hosts multiple low-traffic domains and runs Bluebottle/WebHTTPServer, got a heavy attack consisting of a zillion HTTP requests origininating from several machines in germany, and survived this without apparent harm.
The only after-effect was that the log window, which was open at the time of the attack, scrolls now quite slowly because of the huge list of incoming connections in the log ...
Congratulations to the robustness of the HTTPWebServer module  Grin

Have a look at WebHTTP.ParseRequest before being too proud...

(...)

            ELSE
               NEW(af); COPY(s, af.key); in.Char(ch); in.Ln(af.value);
               af.next := header.additionalFields; header.additionalFields := af
            END;

What about "inventing" some HTTP-Headers?

This brave solder who defended you from the german divisions, was not able to keep running the Bluebottle (and Zonnon) website for many weekends (guess why), for a long time. It could be my heavy mouse click, or some memory leek?
